‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ Season 2 trailer has finally arrived.
Netflix dropped the official trailer for the much-awaited second season of the animated spin-off series on Tuesday and it’s loaded with action and tons of dinosaurs.
The first season of the DreamWorks Animation series released premiered in September and garnered positive responses from the audience, particularly for its breathtaking animation.
The new season looks pretty impressive took with stunning new island locations and a whole lot of hungry dinosaurs.
‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ Season 2 will pick-up shortly after the events of Season 1, which saw a group of teenagers left stranded on the abandoned Isla Nublar by themselves.
Set during and after the events of 2015’s ‘Jurassic World’ when all the dinosaurs broke free from their cages, the series follows a bunch of kids who are forced to fight for their survival while awaiting rescue on the now-abandoned island.
Netflix’s official synopsis for the upcoming Season 2 is as follows: “Now stranded on an abandoned Isla Nublar, the campers struggle to survive among the wreckage of Jurassic World. As the T.Rex takes over Main Street, forcing the kids deeper into the jungle, the discovery that they may not be alone not only threatens their rescue but may uncover something more sinister.”
The ensemble cast for the series features Paul-Mikel Williams as Darius, Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn, Ryan Potter as Kenji, Sean Giambrone as Ben, Raini Rodriguez as Sammy, Kausar Mohammed as Yaz, Jameela Jamil, and Glen Powell in key roles.
The show is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, Frank Marshall, along with showrunners Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley, reports Collider.
‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ season 2 will hit Netflix on January 22, 2021.
