Stranger Things is an American science fiction horror web television series created and written by Duffer Brothers and released on Netflix.
Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, the first season focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the town, including the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities who helps the missing boy’s friends in their own search.
The Second season is set a year later, starting in October 1984. Will has been rescued, but few know of the details of the events. When it is discovered that Will is still being influenced by entities from the Upside Down, his friends and family learn that there is larger threat to their universe from the Upside Down.
The Third Season is set in few months later in mid – 1985 in the midst of the popularity of the film ‘Back to the Future’.
The monsters haunting Hawkins Indiana -this time by giving them a voice to declare, “We’re going to end you, we’re going to end your friends, and we’re going to end everyone.”
The Final Trailer reveals that while Eleven succeeded in closing the gate at the end of Stranger Things 2, the monsters may have never left Hawkins and are now trapped in the human world. Of course, they are for blood. Furthermore, it looks like one of them has found a host in Billy, Max’s bully of an older brother.
Stranger Things 3 brings the full cast of kids back together, with Millie Bobby Brown returning as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin and Sadie Sink as Max. Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery return as Nancy, Jonathan and Steve. Winona Ryder and David Harbour step back into their roles as Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper. Dacre Montgomery returns also returns as Billy.
Stranger Things will premiere on Netflix on July 4.
