Ana de Armas is all set to reunite with her ‘Knives Out’ co-star Chris Evans.
The Cuban-Spanish actress, 32, will reportedly join Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in the upcoming Netflix movie ‘The Gray Man.’
The spy thriller film which is helmed by ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ masterminds Joe and Anthony Russo is based on Mark Greaney’s acclaimed 2009 novel of the same name and revolves around freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry.
While details on her role are still kept under wraps, ‘The Gray Man’ sees Gosling playing Court Gentry, a former CIA operative-turned-freelance assassin known as the Gray Man, who is being hunted across the world by a CIA agent Lloyd Hansen (Evans), as per Entertainment Weekly.
According to reports, ‘The Gray Man’ also marks Ana de Armas’ reunion with Ryan Gosling, with whom she previously starred in 2017’s ‘Blade Runner 2049’, as well as Chris Evans, whom she featured within Rian Johnson’s 2019 murder mystery film ‘Knives Out.’
The Russo brothers will produce the project on behalf of their AGBO banner. Joe Russo has penned the screenplay which was polished by ‘Avengers: Endgame’ screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, reports Deadline.
‘The Gray Man’ marks the Russo Brothers’ first directorial since 2019’s mega-hit ‘Avengers: Endgame’ which grossed over 279.8 crores USD globally. Their previous credits include ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ ‘Captain America: Civil War,’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, as per EW.
