‘The Verdict: State Vs Nanavati’: Character names haven’t been changed!

ALTBalaji and ZEE5's soon to be streaming series 'The Verdict: State V/s Nanavati' has been in the limelight ever since the trailer was released. The show revolves around the much talked about case on K.M Nanavati and has millions waiting for its release as the show has intricate details that havent been showcased before.

The highlight of the show ought to be the realness of it, to the extent that even the character’s names are based on the real names of the people with whom this incident happened.

In the past, a number of shows and films have been made on this subject but those films have cleverly used their creative liberty and have managed to tweak the actual reality of the story. 

Viewers all over are extremely eager to get their eyes on this show because if trailers, posters, and word of mouth are anything to go by then this show definitely promises a more balanced version of the actual story. 
 
Directed by Shashant Shah, the 10-episode series is based on the real-life incident of 1959 and follows the trial of naval officer KM Nanavati who shot three bullets from his revolver at a businessman and later confessed his crime to the police. Even after six decades the infamous story of K.M. Nanavati Vs. The state of Maharashtra is still one of the most sensational criminal cases in India and mark a landmark judgment in the history of India.
