Timothy Olyphant joins ‘Fargo’ cast in season 4

Los Angeles, Sep 18 (IANS) Actor Timothy Olyphant will be entering the “Fargo” universe in the fourth season.

In the series, Olyphant will appear in a recurring guest star role, essaying a character named Dick ‘Deafy’ Wickware, reports “variety.com”.

It was previously announced that Chris Rock would star in the fourth season of the critically-acclaimed anthology series. Season four also features Uzo Aduba, Jack Huston, Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw, Jessie Buckley, Salvatore Esposito, Andrew Bird, Jeremie Harris, Gaetano Bruon, Anji White, Francesco Acquaroli, Emyri Crutchfield, and Amber Midthunder.

Described as a story of immigration and assimilation, the fourth season of “Fargo” is set in 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri, where two criminal syndicates — one Italian and the other African-American — have struck an uneasy peace.

Noah Hawley will also return as showrunner, writer and director.
