Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh), Oct 22 (IANS) Wicket-keeper K.S. Bharat, who has represented India ‘A’ and was called up as cover for injured Rishabh Pant during the home ODI series against Australia this year, scored 64 off 39 deliveries to steer Chargers XI to a 56-run win over Legends XI in the Andhra T20 tournament that commenced here on Thursday.
In the other match, Kings XI defeated Titans XI by six wickets.
The tournament, organised by the Andhra Cricket Association, is taking place in a bio-bubble. The 33-match tournament features 90 players only from Andhra Pradesh — both Ranji Trophy and age-group cricketers.
