Actor Shashank Vyas is keeping his fitness game strong during the lockdown. Even though gyms are closed, he is keeping his healthy habits alive Shashank is also working out at home.
Speaking about his lockdown workout routine he says,” It’s not about having six packs abs, its about feeling fit which includes a healthy lifestyle. Fitness to me is like breathing.”
How can you manage your fitness when you don’t get to work out in gyms? “To me, managing a fit body includes dedication and commitment. And commitment only to yourself, it’s going to benefit me.”
Describing his workout routines Shashank adds,” I do weights in the morning followed by cardio. I got weights from my friend who has his own gym. For cardio, I just use the building steps for step-ups.
And also stretching six days a week. The workouts keep me busy during the lockdown. We shouldn’t stop exercising with the excuse that there’s no gym.
When there is a will, there is always away.” Shashank is also trying to maintain a good healthy diet. He says, ”I am eating homemade food but with less oil.
I eat in small quantities and a lot of drink buttermilk and water to keep my body calm and hydrated. “Eat well, sleep well and stay well” should be our mantra during this lockdown.”
Shashank Vyas is one positive actor who lives life on his own terms. He lives with his father in Mumbai. He further adds, “One has to stay positive no matter what.
Tough Times don’t last but tough people do”. He is catching a lot of films and web series besides taking care of his diet.
