This World Health Day, our TV actors share their secrets to being healthy

Sandeep Nahar: I do Yoga and gym. I am quite diet conscious as well. I keep away from junk food.

Shubhaavi Choksey: Eat right as per your body and blood group because what you put inside your system, reflects outside. Some form of workout every day, be it the gym or dancing or just a run helps keep the blood circulation going. Last but most important, be happy!

Rehaan Roy: World health day is here and on this special day, I feel it’s a responsibility for all of us to spread awareness about taking care of our health. We all know health is the ultimate wealth. I think the first thing that we should start doing to maintain good health is to start thinking positive and good thoughts. Good thoughts lead us to a better life and that leads us to happiness. Happiness is the prime secret of good health. The second thing that we should do is take some kind of initiative towards keeping our body fit. It could be any form, yoga, exercise, cycling, running, dancing etc. Eating habits are also very important. Last but not least, sleep. Sufficient and good sleep is very important for good health.

Kishori Shahane Vij: The two secrets of my good health are lots of exercises and only nourished food. You can remain healthy with a very active lifestyle. I don't like to sit much in one place I keep walking around. I don't drink water after I eat my lunch or dinner. I try to have hot water after my meals so that I can digest the food easily.

Bhanujeet Sudan Singh: The two secrets of healthy life is eating right and exercising.

Tinaa Datta: I keep myself hydrated throughout the day and I try to avoid junk food as much as possible. To have a healthy life you need to have a healthy lifestyle. I go to the gym when I get time in order to keep my body active and fresh.

Shashank Vyas: For good health, one should be mentally strong, have a positive approach, exercise and eat right.

Prakriti Nautiyal: I avoid eating packed food because it contains preservatives and it can severely affect our health. I don’t overcook my food. I make sure my food is half-cooked because overcooked food is less nutritional. I also cook my food in clay pots because cooking your food in aluminium and steel is dangerous, which most people aren’t aware of.

Ssharad Malhotra: There's a saying health is wealth, one must take care of one’s health as much as he calculates and takes care of his wealth. In today's stressful life, one must not ignore his or her health. My secret of good health is eating healthy homemade food, exercising a lot and trying to keep calm when there's stress. A calm mind and body would not only keep your physical health good but mental too.

Adaa Khan: I do yoga regularly it has helped me a lot to calm myself in stress and also helped me maintain a positive outlook towards life. I also take care that I sleep on time and get enough rest.

Jasmin Bhasin: I am a big foodie and I love trying different foods but one thing that I take care of is to watch out that I am not overeating. I keep track of the amount of food I am eating and how healthy it is. I also take care that I don't skip going to the gym and my workouts. For a healthy life, you need to watch out that you don't overdo and overeat that harms your body.

Shivin Narang: The secret to a healthy life is being positive and patient in life. One should not stress one’s mind so much that the body exhausts itself. Don't stress your mind too much and don't starve yourself too much as well. Eat right and stay fit.

Delnaaz Irani: Health, for me, is basically being in a happy state of mind body soul. Being positive, being happy and always living life as if it's your last day, that’s good health for me.

Mohammad Nazim: I do a lot of exercises but I also eat a lot of food. So, I try to balance my intake of food with exercise.
