This Friday will witness another interesting clash, this time between the Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patani starrer MALANG  and Vinod Chopra’s film on the plight of the Kashmiri Pandit’s, SHIKARA.  The front runner will be MALANG, based on a good promotion as well as getting popular music.

Checking out last  Friday’s clash between JAWAANI  JAANEMAN  and Himesh  Reshammiya’s  HAPPY  HARDY  AND  HEER, it was the Saif Ali Khan starrer that led from the first (3.25 crore) with increasing collections, ending the opening weekend netting 13 crore.  HAPPY HARDY & HEER did win  praises for Himesh’s acting but managed below a  crore during the first weekend. As things stand, 13 crore is not a big weekend number but can bring some relief in Saif’s career with a stable weekdays run and a decent second week.  JAWAANI  JAANEMAN  is so-so in the overseas grossing $650,000.
